Donald Trump’s higher-than-ever public profile is stirring up ever more interest in the Greenwich mansion he once owned, on the market for $54 million.
“Clearly, the Trump name was big a few months ago when I put the property on the market, and it’s even bigger today,” said Tamar Lurie, an agent with Coldwell Banker in Greenwich, who has the listing.
This week, TopTenRealEstateDeals.com, devoted to high-end properties for sale, often with a celebrity connection, featured the eight-bedroon, 13-bath, waterfront estate on its site.
“The Donald” hasn’t lived in the Greenwich mansion since the early 1990s, but it was the first one he bought after hitting it big in New York real estate.
He and then-wife Ivana paid nearly $4 million in 1984 for the 6-acre estate — known as Haroldlyn House — on a peninsula jutting out into Long Island Sound.
