Sensitively built to have no negative impact on its host tree, the building, designed by Takashi Kobayashi and Hiroshi Nakamura, offers a 36-metre long walkway, a picnic area, zipline and kid’s play area.

The house is able to nest as part of the tree without causing harm thanks to a 3D scan of the tee trunk.

Using these details, they were able to construct a frame that protects the tree and holds the house up.
