NYC and it’s real estate wars, top developers blocking each other to successfully execute their projects.

First it was Gary Barnett of Extell holding up Vornado at 220 CPS by holding onto a garage he owned which made it impossible for Vornado to assemble their site. Finally they reached an agreement with Extell, he sold the garage and 220 is going up.

Now Barnett is at it again, trying to buy 230 CPS, which could block Steve Wotkoff’s attempt to build a tall tower in the Park Lane’s spot, a property he purchased earlier.
